   I’d love to see references to back up some of these statistics. If true they’re certainly impressive.

   However some of the later “facts” leave me unintrigued — notably the ones about the increase in the amount of data created per time period. Some of that ‘data’ is the storage of all those text messages, and the comments and conversations that occur on those MySpace pages. I don’t really believe that “all” that “data” will be worth learning in either the first OR third years of a technical degree.

   So my summary of my reaction to this: Starts with a bang, but gets progressively less relevant, and needs verification.

   I make a difference!

   Times are changing. Always have been when we take a perspective look at what has been. Or start to guess at what might be…

   I know that the very moment of NOW is most important to me. In all I do and live. The moments I share with my children are always in now! I am hungry. Tired. I want to play. Laugh.

   There is in GTD the awareness of this same moment, David Allen describes that as “mind like water”. Prepared for anything. Whatever might come. In that way I make a difference. Make a difference in the moment. Now.

   I make a difference by being 100% myself. That is why I like the moto of our children’s school: “Becoming who you are!”
