David Allen was asked what he suggests people do with an extra hour. The question came up around the recent change from Daylight Saving to Standard Time, but it could apply whenever you find that some extra time shows up in your schedule. David’s answer: Don’t use the extra hour for something you “should.” Instead, use it for doing something cool that’s not been a high enough priority to be totally in your face, but it’s been hanging around in your mind or on your lists for way longer than it should – like updating your music set or web surfing about your next holiday location. Sometimes your highest priority is to get some of your lower priority stuff done, especially when that adds to your quality of life.
